Custom Domains

Add your own domain to a Sandbar site with automatic SSL.

Prerequisites

Section titled “Prerequisites”
  • A Pro or Scale plan
  • Access to your domain’s DNS settings

Step 1: Add the domain

Step 2: Add DNS records

Section titled “Step 2: Add DNS records”

Sandbar will display the DNS records to add at your registrar.

Typically a CNAME record pointing your domain to sites.sandbar.cloud.

Step 3: Wait for verification

Section titled “Step 3: Wait for verification”

Sandbar checks your DNS records. Verification usually completes within minutes. Check status:

Step 4: SSL provisioning

Section titled “Step 4: SSL provisioning”

Once verified, Sandbar provisions a Google-managed SSL certificate automatically. This can take up to 15 minutes. Your domain is live once SSL is active.
